Having started business in 2008, I have been Carpet cleaning in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane for nearly 12 years and have established many loyal customers over the years. Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning is a varied and competitive business with companies using a diverse range of methods, equipment and chemicals.
We pride ourselves on offering a locally based quality clean, for carpets, upholstery, mattresses, bond cleans and so much more. The 2 main methods are the cheaper, less effective Dry Cleaning method… And OURS the most thorough, hygienic and beneficial method which is Hot Water Extraction aka Steam Cleaning.
Despite much publicised claims from Dry Cleaning companies stating their carpets are “dry to walk on” and other claims, the difference in quality, cleaning effectiveness, hygiene and health benefits is frankly, night and day.
Here’s a simple comparison. Washing your hair requires wetting your hair, applying a quality shampoo,rinsing with clean,warm/hot water and extracting the remaining water to allow a timely drying time. Now compare this to Dry Cleaning which uses chemicals and drawing dirt from the surface with a pad on a machine. Nowhere near as as effective..
It’s also important to remember carpet, fabrics and other materials contain dust-mites, bacteria, insect eggs, animal and/or human hair, saliva, sweat and other human bi-products. Hot water extraction is ideal for reducing or eliminating Hay-fever and asthma with periodic cleaning.
